I live in am a Southerner living in Yorkshire, (England) which often referred to as Gods own county because of its outstanding natural beauty. I am (sort of) semi-retired, but people keep asking me to ‘do stuff’ for them so I am often far busier now than I was while holding down a full time position!
With whatever spare time I have I write. I have published ‘The Abduction of Rupert DeVille’ & Miriam’s Hex, along with two collections of poetry, ‘Shadows of Emotion’ & ‘Teardrops & White Doves’
At present I am working on two very different collections of short stories, one is tales of Crime & Violence, the other is based on true lives of those living in war zones.
I write five blogs, have created ‘Sneak Peek’ a book promotion site and run the online magazine ‘CQ’ which all keep me extremely busy.
I think that I have always had the ‘itch’ to write, but the catalyst was way back when I was around seven or eight years old. My school teacher asked each child in the class to write a poem about the angel of death. She was so impressed with my descriptive style that my poem ended up in that years school magazine. From that moment she encouraged me to write.
I have submitted a story called ‘The Amulet’ to the Awethors Anthology. The Amulet is a contemporary supernatural work. It is a multi-layered tale which can be read as a simple mystical magic story, or for those who look for a deeper meaning, taken as an insight into our attitude towards greed, giving, and sharing. I will let you make up your own mind when you read it!

I read a lot and have many authors I admire, so selecting a few to name is rather difficult, but here are some which I would recommend you read.
Down by the Dockside by ‘Criena Rohan’. You may like to read my ‘Goodreads’ review at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1676205.Down_By_The_Dockside
Another great author is Hector Hugo Monroe, HH Monroe, or more commonly known by his single name pseudonym ‘Saki’. Again a full review can be read at https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/71189.The_Collected_Short_Stories_of_Saki
Some others, in no particular order, are Wilbur Smith, Joseph Heller, John Irving, and W. Somerset Maugham.
You can find me on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Aboutme, Pinterest, Tumblr, Stumbleupon, Reddit, LinkedIn and Streetlife. In fact just about anywhere the virtual world of the internet reaches. A good place to start looking would be my own website, at the address is above.
