      1. Last Christmas I gave those who assist me in one way or another batches of cookies throughout the holidays.

One lady has grandchildren and she works full-time and since she has been so wonderfully life-changing for me since meeting her I had lots of fun sending her out the door with batches of cookies.

One weekend I knew she was on her way to a weekend getaway with her significant other and so I packed a little treat box with assorted cookies and a roll of summer sausages I’d picked up. It seems like there was something else too but at the moment it escapes me what it might have been. The point is I love doing things like that.

Anyone can run out to the Dollar Store or something but I like to give something of myself.

Even when I am putting together a treat bag of things I have gathered from the market I still like to add something I created myself.
