PARTNER IN CRIME: Who Is This Patty L. Fletcher Anyway? #Blogger #Friend #Marketer #Writer
Hello Everyone.
My name is Patty Fletcher.
You’ve probably been wondering who on earth I am and why I’ve suddenly started appearing on Claire’s blog.
Well, let me explain.
Claire and I met a few years back. I think it was like at the end of 2015 or the start of 2016. Either way, we clicked, and she started helping me get myself together.
I was in a very dark place, had stopped meshing with my book editor publisher and one thing led to another and POOF! A wonderful friendship was born.
Now, all these many moons later, I’m running my own Social Media Marketing business, getting ready to publish my 3RD book and Claire and I are still thick as thieves. Partners in crime you could say, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
But why am I suddenly putting things onto her blog?
Well, as I stated, I help with marketing. Not only do I assist with Social Media, but I am also a Content Promoter.
Claire has entrusted me with the Privilege and Pleasure of helping to grow her blog and her FB page, and so here I am.
I hope we can all be great Friends.
If you’re a client of Claire’s you qualify for some free marketing with Tell-It-To-The-World Marketing (Author, Blogger, Business Assist). So, get in touch at: mailto:patty.volunteer1@gmail.com
Thanks lots for reading.
May harmony find you, and blessid be.
Here’s a bit more about me.

Bubba Tails from the Puppy Nursery at The Seeing Eye Written by Patty L. Fletcher Told by, King Campbell Lee – The Seeing Eye Dog AKA Bubba
Fall 2017
In this magical and love-filled tail, King Campbell AKA Bubba travels to the puppy nursery at The Seeing Eye to help ready a group of puppies who are just about to embark on the fabulous journey of learning to become Seeing Eye dogs. Just as he is about to finish his tail, a wee pup becomes very frightened of all that lies ahead, and one frightfully stormy night she runs away! Will King Campbell hear the urgent call from the puppy nursery in time? Will they find her and save her so she can fulfill her destiny?
The use of Tail instead of Tale for story and Magik instead of Magic is intended for these short stories. A great play on words from King Campbell

How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life
Published 2014
ABOUT THE BOOK…
This is the story of how the author obtained her first guide dog from The Seeing Eye™ in Morristown, New Jersey: what motivated her, the extensive training she had, the special relationship she developed with her trainer, and the good friends she made. Once she returned home to Tennessee, there were many new challenges to be met and overcome, including domestic abuse.
All that was in addition to her chronic conditions of bipolar disorder and fibromyalgia.
With honesty, courage, and humor, Patty Fletcher tells a remarkable story of personal development that is sure to inform, entertain, and inspire others, both blind and sighted.

About Me
I’m a single mother with a beautiful daughter, of whom I am very proud. I have a great son-in-law and six beautiful grandchildren. I hope to be able to write more about them later.
In April of 2011, I went to The Seeing Eye™ and was given a beautiful black Labrador named King Campbell Lee A.K.A Bubba. We trained together at The Seeing Eye™ for 26 days and on April 29, 2011 we graduated from the Dog Guide program and together began our new life.
Sadly, Campbell has left for the Rainbow Bridge where all is peace and love.

Aunts Mary Fletcher, and Joan Norris. Also, by, his Adopted Grandmother Phyllis Staton Campbell, adopted Uncle Dave Light, his now retired trainer Drew Gibbon and various staff from The Seeing Eye. As well as many friends round the world including his editor and publisher Claire Plaisted of Plaisted Publishing House Services, his attending veterinarians DR. Hyatt and DR. I hope to return to The Seeing Eye™ for a successor dog.

Happy Birthday to the Indie Publishing News
I can’t quite believe how fast the last two years have gone. The Indie Publishing News was first published on 10th Feb 2016 as a by monthly magazine for Indie Authors. It was quite a hard sell at first, looking for people who would participate, doing interviews, new releases poetry etc. By May of the same year I opened the Indie Publishing News Group so I could gather all I needed to make a magazine. I made Post headings and invited those I knew into the group so we could all share and enjoy each others achievements.
The group grew, the magazine changed appearance in October 2016 and we started Spotlight Authors. If memory serves me well J G Clay was my first Spotlight Author. He was great to interview and the cover was amazing, a great photo which Ceejay-designs created and continued to create right up until Ceejay became a Spotlight Graphic Artist/Book Cover Artist. This year, this young designer will only be doing the word placement as each magazine will be created by a different designer who we will interview and show some of their work.
By the end of the year I also had two cartoonists to draw cartoons of my Spotlight Authors…a good bit of humour which I know has been enjoyed by the authors involved. Adam Mitchell was with us for a short time before Mara Reitsma are great artists.
Today we have a group of over 500 members with 370 who have signed up to participate and share out the magazine each month. Sadly I have no idea how many share or even open each magazine, what I do know is it goes out worldwide and we get more new members each month. Looking into the statistics of the group the amount of participates in the group is 145 which isn’t even half of those who signed up.
If we wish this magazine to continue to grow and share your work, we really need to up the amount of those who participate within the group. We need more names for Interviews, New Releases, Poetry, Flash Fiction, Events, Educational, Informational…The last two can be emailed to me.
Comments and Reactions have also dropped.
The drop in Comments means less are participating and adding links. The magazine has gone from 45 pages down to about 33. Even though that is still quite a large magazine it is also a considerable drop. If you can help build the magazine back up…please let me know. Send in your ideas…Give it a go and be proud to be INDIE
I would like to encourage bloggers to join the group and share some of their educational and informational articles, spread your news, share our magazine and grow our social media. I’m happy to do a short series on various writing, editing, book covers, marketing topics etc.
On the marketing side I’d like to thank Joe Compton from Go Indie Now for sponsoring this magazine last year. If you wish to sponsor the magazine by getting the same advert in each month then the cost is $60 USD
Part of the celebration is also opening the doors to Indie Music and sharing their links to videos, muisc and we are also hoping to share songs by these wonderful muscians.
Happy 2nd Birthday to everyone involved in this wonderful magazine!
No more HEADTALKER
First it was Co-Promote who disappeared without notice, and from what I have seen and read – with out paying back to those who had membership and not contacting anyone who used their system which was excellent. There is still a post up saying they are having internet glitches and will be back soon. Months later and nothing.
Now it is Headtalker who has been sold or join Newswire. I’m sure it was an excellent decision for the company. We all thought Headtalker would be back and still have FREE Campaigns as well. Sadly NOT.
Newswire – who I have been in email contact, asking when Headtalker campaigns type thing would be back…WON’T BE BACK… All campaigns will be done by Newswire and they won’t be FREE. They will be charging Influencer FEES…I am sure there are many who will be able to afford those fees, though I don’t know what they are. They will do a budget…Though they didn’t tell me what that budget was either. It doesn’t bode well for those Indie Authors on budgets at all.
This is what is on Newswire website under pricing. I have no idea if this is it or if they will be offering more budget packets. There lowest for Single was $99 (Note the three options above Pro/Small Bus & Enterprise).
