Meet Six of our Authors

Jim Adams

Our first author is Jim Adams, from Rotorua, New Zealand.  A lovely comical fellow who most certainly has a few stories to tell you all.  We met in 2014 prior to Plaisted Publishing House been a Limited Company.  We met at the local Writers Group of which he is now President.  

Jim is a Canadian, Irish, British Kiwi…Right mixture, no wonder he’s such a great story teller.  Jim married a Kiwi lass and eventually settled here. He has four grown children and a dog who he adores.   Jim has done various jobs of the years including running his own businesses.

The first book Jim worked on is called ‘Laura.’  This story is about a May to December relationship with a ghostly twist about ever lasting love.  A lovely story of joy and sorrow, moving forward and loss.  Who will win this love affair?

Jim’s second book, ‘Away with the Faeries,’ is a funny and confusing memoir about his youth in Canada.  Talk about mind wandering and chapters in the wrong place with hilarity tossed in.  Another grand book to read.
